Roger read my post from yesterday and encouraged me to participate in Ruby Tuesday. I have only played along once, and it's high time that I did again.
Ruby Tuesday is hosted by Mary, The Teach, and the idea is to post a photo that has red in it.
My photos are of the very last scrapbook layout that I did before I took my nine month break. I couldn't show the layout completely because there were pictures of other kids on it. Don't want to make anyone mad, you know? The pictures are of Oldest Daughter at her Christmas band concert.
This last Ruby Red item, I recieved in the mail from Jerri. The quote that I added to my sidebar was in this book and it struck a chord with me.
Thank you Jerri, for the book and for the encouragement!

That a great post for Ruby Tuesday Jen!
Your pictures show that you enjoyed scrap booking. Thank you for sharing the pages of your daughter.
Really nice layout!
BTW... don't think I didn't notice (again) the time stamp on this post and the one on your "to-do" list post. Ummm... weren't you the one who was going to bed early last night? That's okay, I knew you were just kidding when you said that! Heehee!
That's why I work off of seasonal to-do lists. Daily lists can become very condemning when you can't complete those lofty one day goals. If you make seasonal lists, you'll feel more of a sense of accomplishment.
Be blessed, friend! We'll chat on Wednesday.
ROGER - I appreciate the reminder about Ruby Tuesday. I like your TRUCK that I called a car in comments. Sheesh.
IVON - Yes indeedy, I finally like it again! The pages WAY pale in comparison to my kid... she is really amazing.
DAWN - Busted! Actually, the To Do list post was scheduled earlier yesterday evening... I always Schedule for 12 AM or 12:15... if you see a later timestamp, then I was probably up later. Like this one that says 12 forty something. Like I said... Busted! The worst part was when I went to bed, I couldn't sleep. I was awake TRYING to sleep for another full hour. Rrrrrrrrr.
Maybe we should Thank Bre for adding this book to the table at the crop. I figured that you needed it more...
Enjoy.

that book sounds interesting
Oh, Jen. You are SUCH an encouragement to me. You have no idea. One of my primary goals of blogging is to be a light in the every-darkening online world. Thank you for the virtual hug (I'd totally give you one, too!) and all the uplifting comments.
Speaking of some Serious Talent... gal, you've got it in spades! (or would that be Hearts since this is a Ruby Tuesday Post? LOL!) Loved the layout! I do hope that the music in the background isn't Tit Willow! ROFL!
HUGS!
