Thank you so much for being here. You have no idea what your presence means to my family. We have talked about you this week... wondering who YOU are.... wondering who will take time to read this post and who will participate. I can honestly say, YOU are part of what makes this day positive for us.
Since Diva Daughter was the one who envisioned a day when people reflect on what is positive in their life, it is only appropriate that she have a say:
Thank you for being a part of Positive Day!
I first started thinking about this day because I feel like some people are very negative about things that they don't have to be. So I am going to tell you some of the things that I feel positive about and thankful for.
I am very thankful to have a family like mine. My family loves me!
I am positive about my friends too. My friends are always there for me. That is one of the reasons I am glad that we moved. If we hadn't, I wouldn't have met some of the friends that I have now.
And I am very positive about God and Jesus. I am so glad that I will be in Heaven one day.
So on Positive Day, I think people should think about the good things in life. Thank you for being a part of it!!
That's my girl!
What makes her happy may be completely different from what makes YOU happy. That is what is cool about this day - we can be united with a positive attitude regardless of what we feel positive about.

Jen - It worked fine on my blog by doing this:
step 1 - Choose Blogger (new or upgrade)
step 2 - Choose Original Auto Linkies
step 3 - Generate code
Do not paste the code into your header - just the post. Why did you put it in your template? Did he tell you to do that 'cause it was your first?
I didn't do that and it worked.
To get this you may lose the links you already have when you start over BUT there is a way to re-enter them. COPY the ones that are there now FIRST before you attempt to re-enter the code.
Look at my Positive post. Is this how you want your Mr. Linky to look?

I enjoyed taking part. Tell your husband that we had an Alaskan malamute and he was fine when the temperatures soared to 100F. We just had to let him out for very short times and provide lots of water. However, never shave these dogs. That ruins their insulation coat. What keeps the cold out keeps the heat out. :-)

The saying that "great minds think alike" is certainly true regarding Positive Day. It is wonderfully exciting how your Diva Daughter has caught the vision as well in 2009. Actually Positive Day was conceived in writing on October 27, 2008 in response to my having created The Be Positive Do Something Positive Day in 2006. The individuals who are involved in the creation of Positive Day are all lovers and disciples of Jesus Christ as I am.
