Well I didn't fall off of it.
The kids have guests tonight. I've been clearing a path in my house this week so their friends could get through the door. I can't guarantee their safety (they could get lost in the clutter, be crushed by a laundry avalanche, or attacked by dust bunnies) but we should have fun.
Because I bought YooHoo.
And Mountain Dew.
And Doritos.
Yeah Bay-bee! We've got ourselves a party!
Tomorrow, while the kids hang out on the computer, play with the Wii, and binge on YooHoo and Doritos, Bryan and I will be watching college football games....
~ Alabama (ROLL TIDE) plays Mississippi State.
~ Auburn plays Georgia.
~ Florida plays South Carolina.
~ Tennessee plays Ole Miss.
Sounds like the perfect Saturday, no?
Well that's all I've got (yeah, you really did click my link for this). I hope you have a wonderful and relaxing weekend.
Be blessed Y'all and.... (say it with me people) ROLL TIDE!

And Baylor (my team) plays Texas... wait that's my idea of a nightmare. Gulp. I'm off to hide until the game is over, you know we'll be crushed!
Thanks for the comment on my blog btw. :)
Thanks for the link.
You have a great weekend, sounds like you have a perfect plan! We are having the kids out Sunday to celebrate my husband birthday on the 18th. God Bless.
With all those snacks, I can just imagine how late they'll be up. Hope you get some sleep there. Good luck with the games.
I had no idea you could still buy Yoohoo!
You watch your college games and I'll watch the peewees! My son's kickin' butt at hockey!!
Happy Saturday, Jen! :)
I know you'll have an awesome time. Just curious, what are Yoo Hoo's or did I miss something?
I knew right away you had not fallen off the edge of the earth...because I pretty much have and I didn't see you anywhere! LOL! Yeah, I've been in a blogger fog lately...and no real reason why. But I'm still lurking around, checking on my peeps!
Alabama & Mississippi State. That will be a real hoot to watch. Tell your guys to have a little mercy, please. I'm predicting maybe 48-7 Alabama wins.
Our dear Saints play on Sunday...I think. Is it possible, could it be, will it be another win? Can they really go NINE W
INS IN A ROW? hELLO!
Blessings Jen, have a great week end!
And yes, Roll Tide...but gently... please... tomorrow...LOL
PS: Didn't mean to hog up all your comment section. Sorry.
Sounds perfect. Have fun.
Long Overdue
All of could think when I read this.....HOW DO I GET TO YOUR HOUSE? ROLL TIDE!
Cute post!
THE. PERFECT. SATURDAY!
We will be watching too - and our kids are gone for the day paintballing :}
We'll be cheering on the Tide with ya'll! Have fun and take a Pepcid!
Love the beach pics... Ida made a mess here!
I seriously wish I could get into football. My life would be happier. For sure. Since, you know, it is Hubby's LIFE.
You are the coolest of Moms! I won't tell my kids what your kids are indulging in today. They would be terribly jealous. They would totally revolt and come over to your house :)
YOU FORGOT WISCONSIN PLAYS MICHIGAN!!!!!!! HOW COULD YOU!!!! I NEVER FORGET YOUR GAMES!!!! AND YES, I AM YELLING!
Hehehehehehehe
Besides that - - - your title, "Falling off the Edge of the Earth" reminds me of a simply FABULOUS movie. It is a ZERO special effects movie - - - but if you will just let yourself get past THAT, and WATCH it and LISTEN to what they say - - - you will find yourself laughing until the tears roll down your cheeks. It is simply a classic. It's called "The God's Must Be Crazy" - - - have you seen it?
Funniest situation comedy I've ever seen - - - it ISN'T stupid "Dumb and Dumber" humor. It's humor for folks who have a mind and can get past mindlessness.
I haven't had a yoo hoo in a very long time. Now I want one.
Gosh, Now I am craving a YooHoo! I haven't had one in ages.
Go Gators!
My kids are pulling for Alabama today. The next door neighbors are huge state fans and all of the kids bicker back and forth over which team is the best (Gators or Bulldogs). So, my kids seem to have a huge dislike for MS State now.
HAHAHA poor neighbor kids!
Dangit! Notre Dame is on at the same time as the Alabama game, and Gonzaga has a basketball game at the same time too.
Sheesh!
I will peak in on your Tide and make sure everything is going well.
Good luck!
As they say, you'll gonna have a party tonight, lol. Sounds great for everybody. I really think it's wonderful that your kids can relate to both of their parents. Some families have communication gaps with their children and their children act as though both parents have a different existence. Thanks for the feel good post. God bless yoiu all always.
Party on girl! I love family time no matter what everyone is doing. Staying close enough for hugs!
<><
YooHoo, Doritos, and Mountain Dew? That IS a party! :) Hope it was fun.
all I know is that Michigan State University beat Purdue and Univ. of Michigan got their back sides whooped by Wisconsin :)
Did you get all the laundry off the couch? LOL
How did your games come out? I was bummed that I couldn't watch Penn State, but they won, so I can't complain too much. :)
Gators won too, so all is well at our house!
Very funny and makes me feel better about my more than cluttered house!
Hahaha...sounds like those kids were coming to my house! So much clutter, so little time. ROLL TIDE!
HAHA! I knew we were alike in many ways...but even in the one that YooHoo, Mountain Dew and doritios constitutes a party! LOL!
