Hello Darlin'.

Nice to see ya. It's been a long tiiiime...

Wow Blogland. I missed you so much I had to go all Conway Twitty and stuff.

On Thanksgiving, I hit a milestone. With a bloomin' YouTube video (although it was a good one), I hit 750 posts. That means today, I'm actually celebrating 751 posts (even numbers are highly overrated).

*FWEEE*

Goodness, that is a LOT of blogging - almost two years worth of mind purging on the internet. Bless your dear hearts for reading.

*FWEEE* (that one was for you)

Moving on...

Friday, Alabama faced Auburn in the Iron Bowl. My Tide is determined to take years off my life, one football game at a time. That was the most stressful 3 1/2 hours I've had in a while (at least, since the Tennessee game).

At one point because of stress, I had to leave the room of our condo (we were on vacation last week... more on that later). I walked down the hall and stood looking out a window over the pool.

My back was to the elevator and the doors opened. I heard a female voice say, "War Eagle!" (of course I had on my Alabama t-shirt with the big Bama "A" on back). I turned around and smiled at a cheeky blond and said "It's too much for me. I can't watch." She laughed and kept walking.

As I walked back to our room, I prayed, "Lord, since You let her be skinny and blond, please let me have the winning team."

Thank God for answered prayer :)

Congratulations to the University of Alabama Crimson Tide. And congratulations to the Auburn Tigers for showing up and giving the Tide a fight. I have to admit, the shut out last year was MUCH more fun than this year's game, but it wasn't nearly as exciting.

ROLL TIDE Y'ALL!!!

*FWEEE* (that one was for my Tide).

WOW! 751 posts!

If I survive this football season watching Alabama and the Saints that will be a miracle in itself. I have had more knuckle biting moments than I care too. I so relate to leaving the room, otherwise I might just faint or worse.
At least I can count on them to play exciting games, but must they give an old lady heart failure? Geesh.

It's good to have you back in blogland.

Hugs,
Rose

You're such a good cheerleader! How 'bout signing up to root me on while I lose 15 pounds this month. The challenge is this: a wedding, then Christmas, then all the Seasonal party platters I'll see laying around somewhere. Oh...and I have to walk 150 miles this month, too. I'll keep you posted every week. Stay tuned.

LOL @ your answered prayer...

Loved the Conway reference. I went to interior design school with Conway's ex-wife, Mickey. Loved that woman! She was truly a hoot!

I learn something new everyday! Today I learned that you are the same person who writes for another blog I have visited. I thought your picture looked familiar. I saw you left a post on my blog "His Princess Warriors" (which I don't remember to check often enough). I spend most of my time writing for my other blog. Seems like you have the same dilemma. I love reading your posts, they crack me up! Thanks for sharing your sense of humor.

Wow. 751 posts - now that's a number.

I'm heading to Birmingham again in January for a Pastor's Conference at my friend's church. It's our annual Pastor's Conference. I'll remember our visit the last time I was there.

OK, so our trip to Chicago on Black Friday totally blew any chances of me being able to watch the Tide! I had not heard the results until later that night when we were watching ESPN. I about had a heart attack just thinking that they might lose!!

*insert horn toot here*

Roll Tide & congrats on the huge 751 :}

Hi
I love your blog. We are all originally from Alabama (a.k.a. God's country) now living in exile near Seattle Washington. We love, love love the Crimson Tide and are seriously considering investing in a defibrillator if this season doesn't end soon.
Congrats on the milestone; get ready for the gators and remember Roll Tide Roll forever.

I am still basking in the after glow of the Saints win against New England. It's surreal and I can hardly believe it. I keep thinking someone will wake me up only to find out it was just a wonderful dream! Goodness gracious!
