WORDLESS WEDNESDAY... "Just BLOOM already!"

*This is the tallest Amaryllis we've ever had and the first time to use sand. A coincidence? I dunno, but I hope it BLOOMS!

It will bloom. By Christmas it will be in full bloom. Awesome.

Have a terrific day. Big hug. :)

I want to do that with tulips this spring. Do you have any special instruction for growing them? I want to use one of those big round vases with fine gravel.

That is one tall amaryllis. I don't know anything about flowers but I'm sure it will be gorgeous once it blooms.

Wow, I haven't seen one in sand before, but hey, whatever works. Lol, I waited two years for and Iris to bloom, consider yourself lucky.
I can't wait to see it!

We have a story about an Amaryllis. We never heard of them till we brought this thing home just because we liked the vase. We set the bulb aside and forgot about it. A month later we saw it in full bloom just laying there on our hutch. No water, no vase, no light, no nuthin'.

Who knew?

Yours looks like it might be a slender beauty.
